Brit Grit Alley

Brit Grit Alley features news and updates on what's happening down British crime fiction's booze and blood soaked alleyways.

By Paul D. Brazill

Some stonking  hot news from the pioneering Brit Grit publishers Byker Books:

'Byker Books are pleased and proud to announce that they have signed up a number of up-and-coming British novelists for their forthcoming 'Best of British' series exclusive to the Amazon Kindle.

The series will feature novella size tales of woe, mischief and downright badness from the grimy underbelly of this sceptred isle.

First up with 'Things To Do Before You Die' is the redoubtable Roz Southey (The Charles Patterson Series) soon to be followed by Hull's finest Nick Quantrill (Broken Dreams, The Late Greats) with 'Bang, Bang, You're Dead!'

As we continue to promote and expose working class writers and authors (and with the likes of Ian Ayris, Allen Miles, Andy Rivers and Darren Sant also signed) combined with our policy of a price for every pocket we feel that (if you'll forgive the Olympic style pun!) this is a series that will run and run!'

'Things To Do Before You Die' can be found here

The other books look like corkers too!

London writer Ruth Jacobs has just published 'In Her Own Words ...Interview with a London Call Girl' which a series of interviews that Ruth did in the '90s.

All proceeds go to the charity  Beyond The Streets.

You can find out more about the book, Ruth and her forthcoming novel Soul Destruction at her blog.

And finally, we all like free stuff,eh?

So why not pop over to Smashwords and get a copy of Pulp Metal Magazine editor Jason Michel's 'And The Street Screamed Blue Murder ' for NOWT?!

And the scorchio summer issue of Pulp Metal Magazine should be unleashed pretty damned soon, too!

See you soon, same Brit Grit Time, same Brit Grit Channel.
