About Out of the Gutter

Out of the Gutter in print
Begun in 2008 as "the only pulp magazine in print," Out of the Gutter originally appeared as a 200-page quasi-punk 'zine featuring homemade formatting, off-the-wall humor, articles on crime, politics and culture, and the grittiest fiction available anywhere.

After seven issues the project grew into a small press, and the printing of the journal grinded to a halt.

But today we're breathing new life into the endeavor, finally moving into the twenty-first century by combining Gutter's rapid-fire, no-holds-barred attitude with the instant access and live discussion offered by the Internet.

We welcome your responses in our comment sections, and we also welcome article and fiction submissions here.
